The True Meaning Of Christ-Mass

They tell us that it is the season to be jolly. It is a time of ornaments, red and green decorations, silver bells, holly, mistletoe and colored lights. It is also a time of department store Santas calling out their universal mantra, “Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas.” Nearly all of the realm of so-called “Christianity” join in and repeat this same greeting, “Merry Christmas!”

Although we hear these words constantly as they resonate millions of times throughout the land, almost nobody understands what they are really saying. It is the purpose of this tract to take the words, “Merry Christmas” and examine the true meaning and essence of those words.

A true Christian would want to examine everything they say, because Jesus said in Matthew 12:36-37, “But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.” We will now set aside all of the customs, glitter and traditions of Christmas, which were taken from pagan witchcraft and popularized by the Roman Catholic Church, and we will focus on the true meaning of the words, “Merry Christmas!”

The word “Merry” is simple to define. It unquestionably means to be happy, joyful and light-hearted. The word “merry” fits into the ambience of laughter and frivolity. This word “merry” by itself is innocent and innocuous enough, but as we will now see, it becomes heinously blasphemous when used with the word “Christmas.”

Here let it be noted that most people think that the word, “Christmas” means “the birth of Christ.” By definition, it means “death of Christ”, and I will prove it by using the World Book Encyclopedia, the Catholic Encyclopedia, and a book entitled, The Mass In Slow Motion.

If you are an honest, sincere and discerning Christian, please read on; if not, you might as well stop right here. The World Book Encyclopedia defines “Christmas” as follows: “The word Christmas comes from “Cristes Maesse”, an early English phrase that means “Mass of Christ.” (1) It is interesting to note that the word “Mass”, as used by the Roman Catholics, has traditionally been rejected by the so-called Protestants, such as Lutherans, Baptists, Methodists, Presbyterians, Pentecostals and so on. The word “Mass” is strictly a Catholic word and thus, so is “Christ-Mass.”

It would stand to reason, that since all of these denominations love and embrace “Christ-Mass”, that December 25th is the great homecoming day, when all of the Protestants become Catholic for a day. It would seem that all of the so-called “wayward daughters” of the Romish church return to their mother, the scarlet harlot. Thus, all of the so-called Protestant churches could sing to the Pope that popular song “I’ll be home for Christmas.”

It is also a historical fact that December 25th was celebrated in the Roman and pagan world as the birth of the sun god Sol or Mithra. In the decades and centuries before Christians began celebrating December 25th, Roman emperors promoted the sun god and his feast day of December 25th.

As previously stated, the word “Mass” in religious usage means a “death sacrifice.” The impact of this fact is horrifying and shocking; for when the millions of people are saying, “Merry Christmas”, they are literally saying “Merry death of Christ!”

SANTA, SATAN, HUH, I WONDER WHO’S BEHIND IT! Furthermore, when that fat man in the red suit laughs boisterously and says, “Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas”, he is mocking and laughing at the suffering and bleeding Saviour, who died for our sins. He does this while parents place their little children into his waiting arms to hear his false promises of gifts that he says he will give them. Consider what you are saying when you say “Merry Christmas.”

What is so amusing about our Saviour’s painful death? What is so funny? WHY IS SANTA LAUGHING? (WHY ARE YOU GOING ALONG WITH IT?)Your words do count and Satan knows it. Yes, the word “Mass” does mean “death sacrifice”, and to cement that fact, we will consider the definition of the inventors of the religious application of the word “Mass.” I am looking at page 537 of the Catholic Encyclopedia, which says, “In the Christian law, the supreme sacrifice is that of the Mass.” It goes on to say, “The supreme act of worship consists essentially in an offering of a worthy victim to God, the offering made by a proper person, as a priest, the destruction of the victim.” (2) Please note carefully the word, “victim” of the Mass. The Latin word for victim is “Hostia” from which the word “host” is derived. The Mass, by definition of those who coined the word, is a sacrifice involving a victim. There is no other meaning for the word “Mass” or “Christ-Mass.” On page 110 of a book entitled “The Mass In Slow Motion”, we find the following words: “It is only with the consecration that the sacrifice of the Mass is achieved. I have represented the Mass to you, more than once, as a kind of ritual dance.” (3) In essence, the Mass is the ceremonial slaying of Jesus Christ over and over again, followed by the eating of his flesh and the drinking of his blood. The Mass is the death sacrifice, and the “Host” is the victim. (This is official Roman Catholic doctrine, and “Christmas” is a word that they invented).

Again, I ask, what is so merry about the pain, bleeding, suffering and death of Jesus Christ? SATAN HAS DONE QUITE A JOB OF GETTING MILLIONS OF SO-CALLED “CHRISTIANS” TO BLASPHEME. WHAT A DECEIVER HE IS.

Now you know the true meaning of the word “Christmas” or Mass of Christ. Jesus was not born on December 25th, and Christmas is not only a lie, but is actually a witches’ sabbat called “Yule” in clever disguise.

NEITHER PAUL, PETER, JAMES OR JOHN EVER PRACTICE CHRISTMAS. PAUL SAID:  Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

RUDIMENT-A first principle or element; that which is to be first learnt.

2Th 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.

Mt 15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

Mr 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

Ro 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Jer 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, (Learn not the way of the heathen,) and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. (CHRISTMAS TREES!)

Lu 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

1Co 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

1Co 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

[39] For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, lo, thus have they done in the midst of mine house.

Good to hear from you, Juanita! Great verse, very apropos. May the Lord continue to bless you with Truth, Grace, and discernment.

    Thumbs UP!

Glad to read your new article.

This year I totally disengaged myself from the whole Christmas thing, felt good to finally make the break, following through on what I have known to be the truth about Christmas for a long time.
Thank you for the solid information.

  5. HeavyDutyDoseOfTruth Says:

“John MacArthur equates 33 degree Freemason to be a Christian”

Let the TRUE believer in Jesus Christ beware that they have been played like a puppet in many and varied ways since the day they were born.

“The most wonderful thing of all is that the distinguished Lutheran and Calvinist theologians who belong to our order really believe that they see in it (Illuminati) the true and genuine sense of Christian Religion. Oh mortal man, is there anything you cannot be made to believe?”

  6. HeavyDutyDoseOfTruth Says:

Equally disturbing is a video of John stating that it’s ok for a Christian to take the mark of the beast and still make it to heaven.

  7. Mom4Truth Says:

    Hello, Heavy Dose,

Thanks for visiting and leaving those links. We love William with Ephesians 5:11, he’s a true brother. We thank the Lord for his due diligence and tireless research into the wolves of our day. Brannon Howse and Jimmy Deyoung are included on that list, also evidenced by the YouTube video you linked. The outright dismissal and disregard of professing Christians who also claim the tile of 33rd degree freemason is exemplified most vividly in none other than Billy Graham himself. How many would dare challenge this modern day ‘Moses’ and his status as a Christian? The workers are few, assuredly. I think of David Jeremiah with the all-seeing eye behind him at the pulpit. The Truth is apparent and plentiful for all who would see!

I haven’t seen you visit before, but an blessed to have potentially come across one of the few remaining of the righteous remnant. Praying you visit again soon.

    In Christ, our Lord,

    Mom 4 Truth

I am so blessed and encouraged to hear that this article brought precious affirmation to you at just the right time. I say frequently that I believe X-mas to be a defining issue of the current climate of apostasy. It was the idolatry the Hebrew people were felled by time and time again. It was the idolatry that saw the Lord’s bill of divorcement upon the Jewish race, that she who had a husband would be brought to nothing and the barren would be made full (Galatians 4:27). He hated idolatry and the way of the heathen then, He is the God who doesn’t change, and He hates it today! May you be encouraged that the narrow way, while lonely on this earth, is encompassed by so great a cloud of witnesses that have walked this path before, with whom we shall rejoice together in eternity!

    In Christ, my King,

  9. David Says:

Amen to this article. Even if its not new material, it needs to be repeated. “Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.” (Joel 1:3)

  10. Clare Says:

Thanks for the article (I read another of yours about members of the family and sometimes having to leave them behind as it were when they reject the gospel after a few times of sharing), but also someone posted some of it on their FB page – is it from an article by David Meyer? I live in the UK, and am struggling with what to say to our family as we have really had our eyes opened more this year about the true nature of Christmas.

Other Christians often say “Jesus is the reason for the season”, and “let’s put Christ back into Christmas”! Fact is, He was never in it in the first place! How do you cope with the card sending – do you send something with tracts in, and not pertaining to “Christmas” or Xmess as some now refer to it as!

  11. Mom4Truth Says:

Hi Clare, it is a blessing to hear from you!

To address your first question about the blog post regarding leaving family- If it is the post I’m thinking of ( entitled ‘Suffer Me First To Go and Bury My Father’, then that is one I wrote and did not repost from David Meyer. Correct me if you’re thinking of another. That came directly after having to walk away from both sides of our family. As I stated in that blog, we are told in Scripture to warn and then to dust off our feet against those who reject our warnings. Further, Christ tells us that our family are those who do the will of our Father in Heaven. Our world values the blood relationship, but we are told our family is spiritual (though some may have the gift of having blood relatives that are true remnant brethren). Your job is to share with your family and be Scripturally honest and blunt in the hopes that they may repent of their sin and be converted. But be willing to walk away from them when or if you find they will not repent and choose to remain in iniquity.

To address your other question about cards: We simply don’t participate in any aspect of the traditions of Saturnalia/X-mas. We don’t send cards (nor do we receive them as most people know we aren’t interested). It really has become another day to us. Of course, we still hear Merry Christmas when out in public, but try to take the opportunity to share, ‘We don’t do Christmas *because* we are Christians!’ Time doesn’t always allow for us to have that conversation, so in those times we just explain we don’t do X-mas. Often they’ll say, well we don’t do all the traditions, we just try to celebrate the birth of Christ, but as you rightly pointed out, it is not the birth of Christ, nor are we compelled to have a birthday party for Christ.

I am blessed to hear that the Lord has graciously convicted you away from the keeping of sun worship and I encourage you on in your walk on the narrow path. As you are faithful with little, He will bless you with more understanding and you will quickly realize you don’t recognize your old self in light of Truth!

May God bless you with continued Truth, knowledge, and discernment. Please stop by and say hi again soon:)

  12. Clare Says:

Thanks – yes sorry – it’s the article on Saturnalia that is the one I saw on FB from David Meyer..

It was the one about burying my father etc that I read first. Our family are mixed really – one son is against anything we say that’s Christian, the others are professing “Christians”, yet they still do worldly things, and our daughter in law, although professing Christianity, can’t see anything wrong with same sex marriage. My sister in law is a Christian, but hasn’t seem to grow much spiritually, she is only new to the faith, and is married to an unbeliever. Her sons are both non believers, although one has been baptised, but shows no fruit, we pray on for the Lord to open their eyes. By the grace of God my husband and I are saved out of the RC church, I left 7 years before he did.

    God bless you too

  13. Clare Says:

I found this too on another site…

Twas the night before Christmas; and strange as it seems
    I wasn’t indulging in covetous dreams;
But reading my Bible, I searched for a clue
Why Christians take part in this holiday too.
I plainly could see that it carried His name,
But the spirit behind it just wasn’t the same.
The songs spoke of wise men, of virgin and child,
    Of shepherds, of God, and all men reconciled;
    But nothing was said of the blood and the cross;
Of repentance, and faith, and of counting the cost.
They sang of the babe, His miraculous birth,
But not of the day when He’ll judge the whole earth.
My Bible said nothing of Santa, or toys,
Of Frosty the Snowman, and small drummer boys.
A reference to Rudolph not once did I see.
But it seems Jeremiah did mention the tree.
I sat and I pondered this curious matter,
When out on the roof there arose such a clatter
    That I knew in a moment he soon would be here;
So I prayed in the Spirit and stood without fear.
He slipped down the chimney, quick as a flash,
And stepped from the fireplace all covered with ash.
There stood St. Nick with his bag and his beard,
He looked at the Bible I held, and he sneered,
    “Another fanatical Christian, I see;
No stockings; no holly, no pictures of me.”
I asked him if Jesus was God in the flesh,
He said that was something he couldn’t confess.
He said, “I am Santa, I come from afar.”
I stood in the truth – “The Devil you are.
That suit and that beard doesn’t fool me one bit.
Your jolly deception is straight from the pit.
    Beneath all your Ho Ho Ho’s Lucifer lurks;
With your all-seeing eyes and your gospel of works
Like a thief in the night you impersonate Christ,
Returning to judge the naughty and nice.”
“So call Christmas pagan,” he said, “That’s O.K.
‘Cause that’s what my sons at the Watchtower say.
You’ll look like a pagan or like a deceiver,
But none will suspect you to be a believer.”
I said, “I don’t care what your servants will say,
My loyalty lies with the Ancient of Days.
No matter how many abuses are hurled,
My Bible says be not conformed to this world.
You have no power, and no part of me,
So I stand on God’s Word, and command you to flee.”
He squealed like a pig that was stuck with a knife.
He ran to the chimney and climbed for his life.
And I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
“Merry Xmas to all, and a long, dark night.”

    Hello again, Claire:)

Thanks for clarifying on the post. I can’t remember where I came across it. I think that’s why I just post ‘repost’ on it. Thank you for informing me. I think I found it elsewhere as a repost, so somewhere along the way, I suppose someone got the content from Meyer.

I think your family story sounds similar to many of us. I am blessed that the Lord called you out of the darkness of the RCC. My friend has a similar story and will tell you that she asked a nun for permission to consult the KJV herself on some issues. She says, had the nun said no, she would have refrained, but the nun encouraged her to do so. She said that was the moment scales began to fall from her eyes. She began seeing all the deceptions in her church and could no longer rectify what she was reading with what she was being taught each week. She left out of that movement and went into the Calvary Chapel deception for 20+ years. She has since repented of that as well and now walks simply in Truth. I think we’ve all sampled the buffet table of apostasy (in fact, I’m planning a blog on that topic!) God has been so gracious to continue leading us in this exodus out of deception into Truth. That path has been littered with the loss of many friends and family. It sounds like the Lord is quickly bringing to your awareness the sad truth about your family members. I’m sorry for the inevitable grief that brings.

I love that poem! Thank you for sharing! I may repost that. I love the part about people thinking you’re with the watchtower. We get asked that a lot. People assume you must be with some sort of cult. Because…You can’t just obey the Word of God without following vain, man-made traditions? I absolutely love that people can’t box us in or lump us in with any group and that makes them very uncomfortable! If we were a part of x-cult, they could dismiss us as crazies, but our commitment to knowing and obeying the Word, nothing more, nothing less makes them have to confront their own Biblical illiteracy and willful iniquity.

So blessed to hear back from you:)

  15. Mom4Truth Says:

So funny, just had someone email me a post their friend posted on Facebook. It was this one. And you’re right, she credits Meyer. Now, too wild if it’s the same poster you both know!

  16. T. Says:

Boy, am I confused. I keep coming across so-called “discernment” sites that are telling about apostasy and delusions within the church, government and media, and then they turn around and say “Merry Christmas!” If you say anything about the truth of what Christmas is, you are labeled “juvenile”, judgmental, hateful, mean, unloving etc… It makes my head ( and my heart ) hurt! Love the poem by the way!

  17. Mom4Truth Says:

T, someone pointed out on Galatians blog that the KJV pastor on YouTube (Bryan Delinger (sp?)) does the same. Speaks variants of Truth but unapologetically promotes Christmas, despite the warnings. Now, I know a while back he did repent of having a bumper sticker with an image of (Sananda Immanuel ‘Christ’) on it. Could he repent? Totally. Yet, it seems to be a dividing strong hold that will not release its grip on certain (read:most) people and they will not repent of.
