hands-over-face

In a post on World Net Daily, author David Limbaugh describes, with potent accuracy, the concerns of conservatives ’round this nation. It is refreshing to know that the right-wing public still exists out there, considering the amount of casualties our side lost to the Obamessiah.
And while I’m sure many that voted for him are now scratching their heads, wondering what they did, there remains an ever-dedicated majority who hold firm that it is still all Bush’s fault, and their “fearless leader” will emerge victorious.
“Remember when liberals were wringing their hands and accusing President George W. Bush of being a dictator and a king? Of course, that was breathtakingly absurd, but what’s really ironic is that these people actually want a king, provided they get to pick him.

As Barack Obama feverishly presses forward with his socialist agenda, one wonders whether any act of executive overreaching might cause the compliant, nay, conspiratorial Democratic congressional majorities to pause or, better yet, to resist.

I think not. Every assault Obama inflicts on the budget is met by Congress with: “Thank you, sir. May I have another?”

I realize liberals take umbrage at the pejorative terms “Marxist” and “socialist,” but in invoking them, my purpose is neither to exaggerate nor to provoke. If the terms bother you, could you please tell me how Obama would be behaving differently if he were a socialist or Marxist just elected in this country?

Better yet, given the policies Obama and Congress are cramming down our throats, please tell me why you even mind those terms? Why not wear them proudly?

Just before the election, I wrote: “With (Obama’s) ideas about spreading the wealth, entrepreneurial selfishness … (and) the inherent evil of corporations … are you not concerned at just how far Obama might go if he’s got a nearly veto-proof Democratic majority at his back? … Before our very eyes, America stands poised to elect as president the most radical man ever to run for this office credibly. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.”

Some, including certain highbrow right-wingers, accused me of hyperventilating. They told us knuckle draggers that Obama is pragmatic and centrist and that we should just calm down and give him a chance. We responded that we didn’t have the luxury of being calm, because if we let our guard down, Obama would rush through his agenda before we had time to react.

Tell me, now that we’re five weeks into this administration, which of us has egg on his face?

It’s not just elitist conservatives. I’d also like to know how self-professed conservative Democrats, who have always vehemently denied their liberalism, would explain their blind faith today. At this point, I swear they’d walk off a cliff for Obama if he told them to.

Even if some on both sides of the aisle are slow to grasp this, what we’re really witnessing here is the fury of liberal power unleashed. In the name of compassion and fairness, they are exerting increasing control over our lives and using the economic crisis as cover, as they seek federal power to:

·         Further dictate our children’s education curricula. “In this budget, we will end education programs that don’t work.” Where did we get the idea that Washington is better-suited for this than our local school boards?

·         Increase their control over Americans’ private health care decisions.

·         Run banks and set salary caps for corporate CEOs – something that ought to horrify free-market adherents everywhere, even those suspicious of excessive corporate salaries.

·         Prohibit corporate perks and private-jet trips while sanctioning their own taxpayer-sponsored ones.

·         Decide who is worthy of being relieved of irresponsible home-purchasing decisions.

·         Discourage charitable giving with their further phasing out of charitable deductions.
·         Dole out money to “worthy” municipalities in order to position themselves as micromanaging federal enforcers: “Nobody messes with Joe Biden.”

·         Replace the free market as the engine of economic growth. You can’t watch Obama operate without concluding he truly believes that government, not the private sector, generates wealth in this nation.

·         Be the arbiter of income distribution for all citizens.

·         Impose paralyzing cap and trade mandates on private corporations based on dubious, disputed, non-consensus-based “science,” which amounts to nothing more than another tax on private industry and flies directly in the face of Obama’s promises to be friendly to small business.

Almost as alarming as the foregoing, President Obama is engaged in what seems to be a deliberate effort to talk down the economy for the presumed purpose of ensuring our panic mode represses a stock market recovery long enough to fuel his frantic agenda.

Adding insult to injury, at a time when these liberals are growing government in areas never contemplated by our founders nor authorized by the Constitution, they are eviscerating the defense budget, relaxing our foreign policy toward enemy dictators and, in effect, unilaterally declaring the war on terror over and forcing us to revert to our pre-9/11 mode of treating the war as a law enforcement matter.

If we could afford to let down our guard and sleep during this period, I’d be inclined to do so and ask whether someone would please be so kind as to awaken me when this nightmare is over.”

Interesting, in light of the 9,000 earmarks totaling $5 billion dollars included in the new $410 billion dollar omnibus (porkulous) spending bill:

$900,000 to fight flies in Nebraska

$400,000 to combat bullying in Montana

$200,000 for tattoo removals in California

$4.5 million for the Center for Grape Genetics

The list goes on…

Aren’t you starting to feel antipathetic? Thank God for guns and religion!

pigs-in-captivityI received an email today that went through the motions of how to catch wild pigs.

First, you go to a place in the woods and lay corn down. The pigs find it, come everyday, and enjoy the free corn.  When they are accustomed to coming every day, you set up the first side of a fence around where they are gathering.

When they get used to that, they will return to the corn and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and you continue setting the fence up until you have all four sides of the fence up. The pigs, who are used to the free corn, enter the gate to eat and you slam the gate behind them, catching the whole herd.

Suddenly and subtlely, the pigs have lost their freedom. They are frantic searching for a way out, but, alas, they are caught. So, they return to eating their corn.  Now they are so used to having been provided food that they forget how to forage for themselves, so they accept their captivity.

Our government is further pushing us toward socialism through “free corn”- government handouts, debilitating and hobbling welfare programs, tax credit for unearned income, foreclosure bailouts,  nationalized healthcare, bad credit buy-outs- the list goes on and on.

All the while, a fence is being constructed around us, eliminating our freedoms a little at a time.  Important to emphasise is that a politician will never provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.

We need to keep our minds alert and our eyes open on our newly elected president who is about to slam the gate on America!

pound-puppyDuring one of his addresses, President Obama jokingly referred to the “recovery” package by saying “It’s not going to be perfect,” and with a tongue-in-cheek grin said, “Afterall, it is coming out of Washington and through Congress.” A laughing crowd smirked and fell at his feet in his attempt to distance himself from something he knows the majority of Amerians DO NOT support. I have to say, I’m still amazed at the amount of Obama-worship going on in this nation and in this world!

It is important to know that while Pelosi did write the content of this bill, the Washington to which he refers and the Congress he jokes about is his Washington and a Congress full of his friends. Do not let him fool you that he is not connected to the reprehensible politics of Washington- he is the Godfather of all that’s wrong with that city at this point.

And what right does he have to say, “It’s not going to be perfect.” Do we, as Americans, not have a right to a perfect trillion dollar package. We have all bought an item of clothing, only to bring it home to find a hole in the stitching on the side. Do we just shrug our shoulders, realizing that, while we just spent $20 on the shirt, we must now suck it up? No! We take that receipt and head back to the store, expecting a refund or an exchange for a shirt without blemish.

So, if and when we see the imperfections to which Obama is referencing, can we insist on a refund? If that’s the case, then I for one would like a $350 billion dollar refund from the banks that we bailed out. They are far from unblemished and I am not a fan of paying for things that come broken.

How about a refund from Detroit? Our government is treating this failed market like an animal pound. These “animals” come broken and carrying baggage. And for a cerain amount of money, we can “buy” these broken, unwanted companies, retrain them, and expect a full, energetic life out of them. If only someone would have pity on their sad little faces, staring back at them from the bankruptcy glass.

I’m sorry, but it doesn’t work that way. The truth is that these “animals” are sitting in a cage for a reason. Perhaps they were poorly trained from the beginning, perhaps they crap in people’s paths, perhaps they don’t listen when someone is trying to get their attention, but no amount of money poured into these mangy mutts will change the reality that they just stink.

By the time elections roll back around, we will have only spent 40% of the money. That is just enough time to open people’s eyes to bring logic and reason back into leadership roles, and enough time to save the other 60% of our money. And while we will have stepped into the largest debt our country has ever aqcuired, the fat lady hasn’t yet sung. We have to start getting the word out about defeating these socialist idealogues in the name of preserving our fiscal responsibility.

twilight-zoneI think World Net Daily hit the nail on the head in this post!
When we think of the word “chaos,” normally we associate it with spontaneous acts of malcontents rebelling without a cause.

But most of the chaos in the world today is what I call “directed chaos” – usually government-directed and with one single-minded purpose: the consolidation of power.

That’s the way I interpret the so-called “economic stimulus” legislation approved by the Democrat-controlled Congress and signed by President Obama.

There is no way it will stimulate the economy. It will have the opposite effect – lengthening and deepening the economic crisis in which America finds itself.

Does anyone truly believe we’re in this mess because the U.S. government didn’t spend enough recently? Of course not. Congress and President Bush spent money like drunken sailors. They caused this calamity because of their irresponsibility and their disregard for the Constitution. Can the cure be possibly more of the same? I don’t think so.

But take a look at how the money will be spent, for evidence of the “cure” is actually worse than the disease.

Of the $800 billion in the so-called “stimulus” bill, only $90 billion will actually go toward things like building highways, upgrading the electrical power grid or meaningful business tax cuts. Far more, however, will be used to revive welfare as we used to know it. Some $264 billion will be directed to encouraging states to sign up more people on welfare.

But it gets worse. This welfare is worse than the old one that everyone – Democrats and Republicans alike – agreed to dismantle in the 1990s.

It’s called the “Make Work Pay” program, and it includes $23 billion per year to provide up to $500 cash to low-income adults who pay no taxes. The program will mark the first time the federal government will hand out significant cash to able-bodied adults without dependent children!

Does that make sense to you?

Probably not.

But it has been thought out. I want you to know that. This program, along with the whole of the so-called “stimulus” bill, has been considered carefully. No member of Congress may have read the bill. But that bill was written by someone. The programs it creates have been in the works for years. Money is being handed out to people who helped get Obama and the Democrats elected. Groups like ACORN, the shock troops and brown shirts of their movement, are being paid off with billions of dollars.

It has all been planned. And the goal is not to help the economy. The goal is to achieve chaos, because chaos leads to more government control – and that’s what Obama and the Democratic Congress want more than anything.

They don’t believe they should be bothered with elections or dissent or any of the nuisances of a free society. They believe they deserve perpetual power, because they are part of the enlightened elite.

They know socialism hasn’t worked anywhere it’s been tried. But they also believe they can do better. They can make it work, because they are smarter than the guys who have bungled it in the past.

In the meantime, prepare for chaos.

Prepare for harder times than you have seen in your lifetime.

Prepare for more debt.

Prepare for more redistribution of wealth, more unfairness and inequity.

Prepare for one bailout after another.

Prepare for more “emergency” legislation like the so-called “stimulus” bill.

Prepare for unilateral executive action through presidential decision directives.

Prepare for attacks on the free press and free speech.

This is where we are inevitably going with the “change” promises by Obama.

You’re going to get change all right.

The government is going to show you how bad it can get, so you will accept its most draconian solutions.

You haven’t seen anything yet.

communist
From Richmond Times-Dispatch, Monday, July 7, 2008

Dear Editor, Times-Dispatch:

Each year I get to celebrate Independence Day twice. On June 30 I celebrate my independence day, and on July 4 I celebrate America’s. This year is special, because it marks the 40th anniversary of my independence.

On June 30, 1968, I escaped Communist Cuba, and a few months later, I was in the United States to stay. That I happened to arrive in Richmond on Thanksgiving Day is just part of the story, but I digress.

I’ve thought a lot about the anniversary this year. The election-year rhetoric has made me think a lot about Cuba and what transpired there. In the late1950s, most Cubans thought Cuba needed a change, so when a young leader came along, every Cuban was at least receptive.

When the young leader spoke eloquently and passionately and denounced the old system, the press fell in love with him. They never questioned who his friends were or what he really believed in. When he said he would help the farmers and the poor and bring free medical care and education to all, everyone followed. When he said he would bring justice and equality to all, everyone said, ‘Praise the Lord.’ And when the young leader said, ‘I will be for change and I’ll bring you change,’ everyone yelled, ‘Viva Fidel!’

But nobody asked about the change, so by the time the executioner’s guns went silent, the people’s guns had been taken away. By the time everyone was equal, they were equally poor, hungry, and oppressed. By the time everyone received their free education, it was worth nothing. By the time the press noticed, it was too late, because they were now working for him. By the time the change was finally implemented, Cuba had been knocked down a couple of notches to Third-World status. By the time the change was over, more than a million people had taken to boats, rafts, and inner tubes. You can call those who made it ashore anywhere else in the world the most fortunate Cubans. And now I’m back to the beginning of my story.

Luckily, we in America would never fall for a young leader who promised change without asking, what change? How will you carry it out? What will it cost America?

Would we?

Now we have officially passed this massive spending bill through both the house and the senate. Tomorrow, President Obama will be in Denver signing this socialist-brained package into existence.

First off, let me say how pleased I am to have him coming to honor the liberals that I co-habitate with in my home-state of Colorado. And it is to this group of blind humans that I dedicate this disaster of a  presidency, the subsequent shift to the left this country has gone in just a few short weeks, and the resulting fade to blue that my state has taken. Granted, it had done so with the election of Bill Ritter, but our state became a dark shade of blue on November 4th.

So, now we have a porky-the-pig spending package that is slated to create or save 4 million jobs. 4 million? Why not 1 million and be suprised by more? The One set the bar rather high- almost guaranteeing a failure and his defeat by the newly refurbished GOP. But, hey, who am I to argue? But these jobs are what I wish to address. And I have a couple questions.

Are there any measures in place that secure these jobs for legal, American citizens?

Is this a bailout package for Mexico and it’s citizens? Because, let’s be real, in the words of CO Sen. Dave Schulthies, there is going to be an illegal immigrant “tsunami” in their attempt to get their hands on this “federal pot of gold.”

We all know how liberal Democrats are when it comes to our borders. They have an open-door policy that has contributed to the decline of America. And it’s all in the name of votes. I don’t really expect them to make any guarantees about the American right to these jobs, considering it is these same Americans that are paying for them, but I think they should have to answer for this dilemma.

Senator Dave suggests they use E-Verify to prove that they are, in fact, legal citizens, eligible for these positions.

I agree. And as a part of this Obama-nation, I would like them to own this very real and legitimate problem. Let’s be real, please. This package is not an attempt to guarantee economic redemption. This is a decades-old, Nanci Pelosi-inspired, liberal wish-list that has been simmering in the progressive crock-pot, just waiting for an aligning of the congressional stars to set it in orbit.

For those of you who voted for Obama, don’t think you’re an appreciated asset to the Obama kingdom, you were just a chess piece, used to set the king in place for one-world checkmate. Checkmate.

money

“The final price tag on the stimulus bill is either $787 billion or $9.7 trillion, depending on how one defines words like “final” and “stimulus” and whether you are getting your news from a liberal or conservative news source. If you want your news straight … well, so do I. (But then I’d know how large the stimulus bill actually is. )

The fact is that there are as many possible definitions as there are people to define them. President Obama redefined “earmark” so that it meant anything added after the fact, not pork tacked on from the beginning in order to buy congressional votes.

Thus, $50 million for the National Endowment for the Arts qualifies as emergency stimulus spending, not pork. The 4 BILLION (with a “b”) for ACORN isn’t really a political payoff. It’s necessary emergency spending to stave off economic “catastrophe.” Without ACORN, how could the economy survive?

It is easily the most massive fraud in history, and it is being perpetrated with barely a peep of public opposition. In the first place, nobody understands the amounts of money involved.

Even at $787 billion, what does that mean? A billion seconds ago, Jimmy Carter was president of the U.S. A billion minutes ago, Herod was king of Judea.

I’ve read all kinds of calculations regarding what the final price tag is to cost each individual American, but again, it depends on some sliding scale of definitions too esoteric for ordinary humans to understand.

Somewhere between $1,600 for every man woman and child on earth (on the low end of the scale) to pretty much whatever number one wants to create – using an equally esoteric sliding scale for decimal points.

Let’s just say that it’s more than breathtaking. (To pay for it, don’t be surprised to hear plans for breath-taxing.)

There has never been a spending plan this large in the history of man. To pull it off, all pretense at keeping previous international trade and currency agreements has been completely abandoned. The “Buy American” clause stands in naked violation of the North American Free Trade Agreement.

The printing of money to subsidize an economic downturn is a violation of a number of international currency agreements in force since Nixon removed U.S. currency from the gold standard.

The other day, Sen. Chuck Schumer defended a planned $1.2 trillion expenditure by the Federal Reserve by shrugging, “It’s not taxpayer money.” He didn’t mean to, but Schumer let slip the big secret that only Americans are ignorant of.

It isn’t taxpayer money; it’s pretend money. It doesn’t exist until it is printed.

The only reason the extra $1.2 trillion isn’t counterfeit is because the Fed is authorized to print it, but it will accomplish the same thing. Doubling the amount of currency in circulation has the effect of halving the purchasing weight of the currency already in circulation.

Gerald Celente summed it up well on Glenn Beck’s program the other day: “This isn’t Economics 101. It’s not even Economics for Dummies!”

According to the latest economic information, the stock market is down a whopping 2,000 points since Election Day. (It makes you wonder what investors know that the rest of us don’t.)

And the economic stimulus bill gives a tax cut that amounts, on average, to about $13 more per week in your after-tax paycheck, or about $2.60 per day. (Never mind. Now we all know.)

Almost a trillion dollars in new spending and tax cuts – for a wage benefit for the average worker of about $2.60 per day. Well, America voted for change. And America got it.

Almost enough change to pay for one coffee break.

Tax cuts that would have genuinely benefited the economy – like a tax break for buying a U.S. made car or a tax credit for buying a new home – were dropped.

Provisions that would spend tens of millions to help people quit smoking or $50 million for energy upgrades for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Cemeteries Division remain intact.

Also intact is $8 billion (with a “b”) for high-speed rail service from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Nothing like investing $8 billion to bail out suffering casinos as an economic stimulus.

These numbers aren’t merely unsustainable; they are unimaginable. It is almost as if there were a deliberate decision undertaken to “fix” the economy by spending it out of existence, forcing the creation of a new economic system in its place and … hey, wait a minute!

Naw. Nobody is that diabolical. But still … “- Hal Lindsey

red-tape

I have something to say about this “Fairness Doctrine”…crap. You first, Obama. Obama goes on this town-hallin’ mission to convince his kingdom of the need for this ridiculous, over-porked, socialist spending package, because, let’s be real, it’s more spending than stimulating, and proceeded to give us the Gorbachev special. Buy some bull-s***, get communism for free! And it didn’t seem that our “transparent” and ”open” president was concerned about presenting both sides so that one may come to his own conclusions, rather he weaved his usual web of manipulation and deceit. So, now come the benefits of this trillion dollar package, and realize, it is a packaged deal, we take white-out to many of our Constitutional Rights. One of which is the Freedom of Speech. The liberal crew is trying to shut-up perceived conservative analysis of news events. What you call conservative analysis, I call logic, something the left is harshly lacking. This is leftist “logic”- do what I say, not as I do. They want to silence those who keep a watchful eye on Washington, and seek to promote those media outlets that maintain their fairytale. We all know how biased media is- NBC, CNBC, ABC, CBS, and MSNBC, Washington Times, the LA Times, The New York Times- all puppeteered by Obama. I am reminded of Richard Gere’s media-manipulation scene in “Chicago”- “How can they hear the truth above the roar?” I highly doubt these media outlets will be censored with this “fairness doctrine”. 90% of our population still holds to traditional, conservative values, yet 10% of the population is determining our future. How is this happening if not for the spin of the liberal media? We on the right must be sure to watch our p’s and q’s, yet my family is inundated with sexualized and immoral TV shows, movies, and commercials. And I ask, what’s fair about that?  I thank God for people like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, Dennis Prager and Laura Ingraham, Ann Coulter and Mike Gallagher- they are facing a major assault right now from the leftist loons that now run our country, but I say, keep it up till they shut you up! Blog and stand on the corners with signs, whatever you have to do, but proudly stake your claim on the First Amendment!

frog-prince

I was listening to a popular radio show today and heard the host mention that Barack Obama has quickly become President Valentine to women across America. And not just a few- we’re talking large numbers of women saying they are fantasizing sexually about our new president. The host hypothesized that these women were viewing him as a sort of “Prince Charming” who’s come to save them in every way. Prince Charming? I say the “Frog Prince”. In that story, the princess kisses her frog and he magically transforms into the man of her dreams. This story will not end so well. They will bend over and pucker up only to realize that they got nothing more than warts from this frog.  I can’t decide if these women love him because they view him as their knight in shining armor or because he’s the proverbial bad boy that keeps them coming back for more. This man has managed to entrance people with some sort of liberal lullaby, and these women are actually falling for it! What they don’t realize is that the man they are trusting to watch over them and their pocket book is actually going to be the one taking from it and he’s the guy that will tango in the political sheets with Ahmadinejad before any of them. Time to wake up from the media honeymoon and realize that this prince ”will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the desire of women, nor will he show regard for any other god; for he will magnify himself above them all.”
